About Us

The Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) is a statutory body which was set up on 12th November, 2012 by the Government of Manipur by virtue of power given to it u/s 17 of the Commission of Protection of Child Rights Act (CPCR Act), 2005 (Amended in 2006). MCPCR works in close coordination with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), State Line Departments and other State Commissions.
